HI! Welcome to Haywire Art! My goal is to create fun and functional fused glass. All my pieces are original and created one at a time. I use the same colors and styles, but I never use a pattern. I am inspired by bright colors and funky, whimsical designs.
WHAT IS FUSED GLASS? Maybe you are wondering what fused glass is. Simply put, after cutting sheet glass with a glass cutter or saw, I assemble designs and then melt them into a single piece in a high temperature glass kiln. Depending on the piece, the next step may be to assemble or embellish the components. In some cases, additional grinding or fusing in the kiln is required.
